I accidently scrolled back on the second page (the one after the warning), and aa error occurred, crashing the entire game when trying to rollback. This only happens at the second page of the game.
This Developer originally came out and said he was going to have to abandon this project due to some personal issues, which I was very disappointed. Then I had seen where he came back and posted on Patreon that he wasn't going to stop the Project, but would have to take longer to finish it, but he was going to finish the project. Well hearing this I was all kinds of excited, because I love this story and want to know what happens. This has been several years ago, with nothing, I look back and do believe that he just stated the intention to finish was to keep patrons from completely abandoning it, which kind of pisses you off. I understand things happen in life, and changes have to be made, but at least be honest, come on. I'm done now

I am really hoping to see more updates. The story line on this is to good to let it go. I was about to subscribe and donate but. Unless i see some progress im not doing that. Please dont let this one go. I have started reading to many to then find out the story line just stops.

i already dumped it, along with several others and pulled my support from ALL devs. some devs are better than others but with how much they are taking in from patreon and other places i expect better and faster updates. furthermore in case no one else noticed evermores dev is still acepting monetary support for evermore even though he has made NO progress on it in a LONG time. if you are supporting him monentarily i recommend you cease doing so because at this point itlooks like he is just scamming you out of your hard earned cash.

Played through the whole game and it was great, a shame there are no more updates... I'd still recommend it, there's enough content if you just want to bust off and a great story is you're here for the plot

Probably read the page a bit before downloading. You can look at the dev log area to see the length between updates. This long after the dev said they wouldn't continue making this, and that wasted 48 hours is on you not them.
when i downloaded it there was NOTHING, and i repeat NOTHING from dev saying it was dead on the contrary quite the opposite. regardless. with that said, this is one of the reasons i stopped all monentary support to devs.
so many devs abandoning games, long time between updates ( only for the update to contain little to no new content just correction which i dont even notice outside of some spelling and grammar which i care less about if im being honest as long as i can follow the story).
what im saying is, if a dev wants monentary support they need to finish projects, they start, add content with their updates ( i doubt anyone really cares about spelling and grammar mistakes as much as the devs updates seem to suggest).
its even worse when the dev has multiple projects and doesnt seem to be updateing or completing any of them. evermore felt like it was at a halfway point to me and left on a cliffhanger of sorts.
my suggestion for anyone that is supporting these devs monentarily if they abandon the projuct you are paying to support:
1. keep track of money given from first day
2. if dev abandons project request full refund of everythign paid to the dev ( not completing a project but taking money for said project is the same as stealing your money as the dev scammed you by making a promise of product and not delivering). side note, if dev is not in the same country as the person paying the support it becomes an international crime with stiffer penalties. i am aware of one such case where a "dev" was sued for the reason we are discussing here and since the dev was in asia somewhere and the person making the suit was in north america somewhere it was deemed to be international fraud. long story short "dev" had to repay ever dime back to those that supported, he spent time in jail, and was banned from patreon. this incident happened a few years ago.
anyway hope at some point dev finishes evermore it was good till the dev cockblocked at the halfway point.
You aren't paying a Patreon for a product, that's not why devs have the Patreon, the Patreon is to support them while they develop and in return you get some perks. You are not entitled to have a dev continue to dedicate their life to a game if they can't make it anymore your post comes off as childish. Thinking you have the right to ruin someone's life over a game is ridiculous. It's also not a scam, you weren't promised anything. If you went into buying a Patreon because you think they should owe you and be forever in your debt then my suggestion is don't buy paterons, these devs are rolling in money, they can't work on these projects full time for most of them it's a part time project that sometimes they get a bit of money for. Also it's ridiculous that you think grammer and spell checking is what's holding content back from how long it takes them to make it, you clearly have no idea how much work goes into creating a game like this as a solo dev. If you expect solo indie devs to always be able to finish their projects then your insane and should probably stop following or consuming the games they make
The dev is also not entitled to continue collecting supporters money if they are no longer making that which patrons are supporting. That's common sense.

I`ve only read a few of these VNs at this point and when i started this one i wasn't expecting much, was I ever wrong, this turns out to actually be a great story, theres a common joke when it comes to content lie this thats "oh i watch it for the plot" well this time thats not even a joke, it's extremely disheartening to see there hasnt been an update in quite some time and there wont be any real updates until sometime this summer
mirror files mean alternative download sites its common practice to upload to more then one site so that people have easier access. some sites have different caps for free downloads some don't work in some country's and then there is the annoying file deleted problem multiple options help with all of them.

You're probably wondering "what did he mean with that last announcement in September?". To be honest, I started hinting at it too soon but I am working so I'll just say a few things to give you a better idea of what to expect.
-Next time I announce anything, I intend to have a lot to show for my time missing rather than just cryptic little hints and it'll basically be a free for all when it comes to questions since nothing will be hidden anymore (besides plot spoilers)
-I'm aiming for a summer announcement, but it'll all depend on how quick my progress is, so it could be sooner and could be later, but that is my target. (If I can't do the full announcement by august, I will at least give a progress update on where I'm at)
-The stories of both Evermore *and * Dawnchaser will see the light of day again.
